Space-saving 15" Medical Touch Panel PC Certified with EN 60601-1 – The MPC152-845

     Axiomtek is pleased to announce the arrival of its latest medical touch panel computer, the MPC152-845. The versatile 15-inch fanless medical touch panel computer is certified with EN 60601-1 for use in medical applications, which includes integration with nursing carts and medical devices as a point-of-care terminal or health facility infotainment terminal.

     The MPC152-845 adopts a 15” XGA TFT LCD display with a resistive touchscreen and 420 nits of brightness. It is powered by the low-power dual-core Intel® Celeron® processor N3060. The fanless design prevents the circulation of dust and microbes and provides a noiseless and quiet operation in noise-sensitive environments. This 15-inch medical grade touch panel computer offers two PCI Express Mini Card slots for RFID, 3G, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection, enabling real-time patient data access and processing.

     With a slim and light design, the EN 60601-1 certified MPC152-845 comes with rich I/O interfaces including one RS-232 port, one RS-232/422/485 port, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, one 8-bit DIO, and one audio (Line-out). It supports operating temperature ranges of 0°C to 40°C and up to 2G of vibration to withstand harsh operating conditions. Its IP65-rated spill/dust-resistant front bezel can protect it from damage due to spilled liquids. Additionally, it has a convenient, on/off single-touch button on the front panel to disable touch screen function for quick cleaning and other shut down purposes.

     Axiomtek's MPC152-845 has one 204-pin DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM socket for up to 8GB of system memory. It also features one 2.5” SATA HDD and one mSATA for storage. The compact fanless medical touch panel computer provides a choice of two types of power input: a medical grade AC/DC power adapter with a screw type connector, and a DC power input with a terminal block connector. It can be run on Windows® 10, Windows® 8.1, Windows® 7, WES 7 and WE8S. The Mounting ways include panel mount, wall mount, VESA arm, and desktop stand.
